Wedding Confirmation Numbers
The deposit requested is the room hire charge which will then confirm your booking. If the reception is later cancelled for any reason and we are able to resell the room for that date, the deposit will be refunded. However, if we are unable to resell the room the deposit is forfeited.
Final numbers should be confirmed 5 working days prior to your wedding reception.
Full payment is required at this time.
Bookings and deposits
A predetermined deposit or written confirmation is required to secure all bookings. This confirmation must be received a minimum of two weeks prior, or the room will automatically be released after this time.
Full payment of the function shall be made three working days prior to the day of the function, with any additional charges being settled at the end of the function, unless credit has been established and accepted by the hotel.
All quotations are based upon approximate numbers provided on initial contact. Should numbers alter significantly, a surcharge could be applied.
Confirmation of the number of guests attending the function is required a minimum of three days prior to the event which will constitute the minimum numbers charged.
Deposits will be refunded in full if written cancellation is received three months prior to your function. Fifty percent of the full deposit will be refunded in full if written cancellation is received between three months and one month prior. If the venue is rebooked, full deposit will be refunded. The deposit is non-refundable if a cancellation occurs within one month of the event.
Room hire surcharge
In the event of your function continuing after midnight, a surcharge of $200.00 will apply for each additional hour or part thereof.
Public holidays - an added 15% on all charges.
Room hire & allocation
Room hire may be negotiable when there is substantial accommodation and food and beverage content in your function. The unexpected can happen and we retain the right to hold the function in a location comparable to that originally chosen, every effort will be made to inform the organiser beforehand.
Display & signage
Nothing shall be nailed, screwed, stapled, or adhered to any wall, door or surface part of the building. The hanging of banners must be approved by the hotel prior to the event.
Mt Ommaney Hotel Apartments is extremely careful when looking after its guests and their belongings, but cannot take responsibility for the damage or loss of items before, during or after the function. It is advisable for organisers to arrange their own insurance cover for property damage and public liability where appropriate.
The hotel reserves the right to request security arrangements at the client's own expense.
The organiser will be held responsible for any damage sustained to hotel property. The hotel reserves the right to request a bond which is fully refundable on the successful completion of your function.
Please be aware that the hotel is not permitted by law to serve alcohol to intoxicated persons or persons under 18years of age
